Friends usually call me Bill, which is why I am also very glad that my parents gave me that name.
I’ve been given permission, for now I should say because who knows when it will be revoked, to author posts here at PACC’s A Christian World View from Silicon Valley. I m quite happy to be involved.
Just a bit about me -
I grew up in the heart of the Bible Belt, went to a very conservative Christian College in Cincinnati.
After leaving college, I spent 4.5 years in the Navy.
Following the Navy I spent nearly 20 years in Asia – mostly Japan, but also Far East Russia and China.
I have been living in Silicon Valley for the past 6 years.
To be sure, my conservative roots are important to me.
However, there is no doubt that my Christian worldview is also flavored by military experience and my time in the Far East as well as the time here in the Valley.
When I write the things I think, these are some of the lenses I am using.
