I tend to take a much broader view of worship as encompassing all aspects of the life I live FOR HIM. In that sense, the worship leader is God himself. Not only does he direct the worship, but he alone is worthy of the worship. This makes sense only if you look at the other five in the original article and if you define worship as what happens on Sunday morning at the church building in a corporate setting with other worshippers.
