Our Staff

Many of our members serve as staff in various capacities. A large percentage of the members in this congregation take an active role in our ministries to children, young adults, college students, and the homeless and poor in our community. We care about those around us, and it shows in what our members do. We have a number of men and women who serve the church in specific leadership roles.

"Deacons" is just a fancy word for "server," an Anglicized form of the Greek word "diaconos." Our deacons serve the congregation by making decisions needed to help the church run smoothly and serve the members and the community.

Sierra Bible Camp

Coordinating the efforts of many of our members and members from other congregations, Ron and Judy Bates have been directing our session of camp for many years. See the special camp section of our site for more details.

Office Manager

Our office manager, Ron Poncy, is often a newcomer's first point of contact with the church, as he works in the office to maintain day-to-day operations.
